Whenever I need some serious design inspiration I like to drum up some Charles and Ray Eames energy. Whenever I go to LA I love to go and visit their house and just imagine what is was like to be them, surrounded by beautiful things in an amazing environment.
Currently, I am in a heap of design and business stuff, and could seriously use some of their wisdom right now. I guess I had no idea when I started this project that I was on the path of being what everyone likes to call an “entrepreneur”. I honestly just thought I’d design a doll house for my daughter and that would be that. People always ask me if I am passionate about doll houses and little things, and truthfully I am not, I just love making stuff that gives kids a place to be creative. I guess my obsession would be with kids play. Well, I digress, my real update for everyone is that we are heading to NYC for 2 amazing trade shows, Playtime and then New York Gift booth number 5910. It will be a very eye opening experience, I am sure.
